Founded in 2018 by Fazel Salimi, Newroz Kebob House has come a long way from its beginnings as “Westwinds Shawarma“. For Fazel, cooking has never been new. He and his long family lineage have always been accredited for their artistry in the preparations of famous Kurdish meals. After much success in his passion for making na’an bread (at his shop now known as “Newroz Bakery“) his wantingness for more ultimately drove him and his family to expand, and use the proven skills in dining. So from that Newroz Kebob House was born.

We now serve thousands of customers traveling from across Calgary and Alberta, and are thrilled that we’re able to continue to grow, sharing our family’s passion.
